Complex product systems
I connect user needs with roles and permissions, data, legacy behaviour, technical constraints and organisational ownership.
Senior Product Designer Complex digital products
About Me
I’m Asia Dechnik, a Senior Product Designer with over seven years of experience across enterprise, B2B and international product teams.
I work at the intersection of product design, discovery, systems thinking and design operations. My focus is not limited to individual interfaces. I help teams understand complex product problems, improve decision-making and establish practices that other people can use.
My focus
My experience includes supply-chain and logistics platforms, enterprise software, internal tools and products supporting specialised operational processes. I work from discovery and research through interaction design, documentation and implementation support.
I connect user needs with roles and permissions, data, legacy behaviour, technical constraints and organisational ownership.
I structure ambiguity, challenge assumptions and make risks, dependencies and adoption conditions visible before they become delivery debt.
I create reusable structures, documentation and working conventions that help designers, developers and Product Owners work more consistently.
Experience
I contribute where product decisions depend on understanding both the user experience and the wider system around it.

How I work
A technically correct release is not automatically a successful product decision. I evaluate design work by whether it helps users complete meaningful tasks and supports the intended product outcome.
I examine relationships between users, processes, data, technology and organisational decisions before narrowing the problem to an interface.
I document assumptions, dependencies, alternatives and risks so teams understand not only what is being designed, but why.
I create structures that make design work easier to continue, implement and improve — beyond the person who initiated it.
Leadership direction
My strongest contribution increasingly lies in connecting product thinking, design execution and team practices. I’m developing toward Senior and Lead roles with greater responsibility for product direction, design practice and team effectiveness.
Background
My path into product design combines philosophy, graphic design and computer graphics. Philosophy taught me to examine assumptions and structure complex arguments. Design education gave me the tools to translate that reasoning into products and visual systems.
That combination continues to shape how I work: understand the problem deeply, make the reasoning explicit and design solutions that remain coherent beyond a single screen.
